As a personal injury attorney, I am always troubled by the number of people injured in auto accidents caused by drunk drivers. That’s not the kind of business I want.

So in 1988, I started a campaign in Delaware County, Pennsylvania, to encourage responsible drinking behavior and keep drunk drivers off the road on New Year’s Eve.

If you drink too much this New Year’s Eve, please don’t drive. And don’t get into a car with a drunk driver. Instead, call us, at 610-859-3700.* We’ll send out and pay for a cab to get you home safely.

Our special cabs and vans will be cruising Delaware County from 12 Midnight to 4 AM on New Year’s morning.

Since 1989 we’ve publicized the program on radio, in newspapers, and on TV with the kind cooperation of Comcast Advertising Sales. Local police departments are alerted about the program, and may choose to call our service for any drunk driver they pull over so that the drivers or their passengers can get home safely.

We are proud to say that in the past 11 years, we’ve gotten over 150 people home safely in the wee hours of New Year’s morning.

* Calls will be taken from 12 Midnight to 4 AM.
